It is our pleasure to invite you to the guest lecture by Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović , the fourth president of the Republic of Croatia, which will take place at our Faculty on May 5th 2023  (Friday) at 11 am. The lecture titled Peace and security for a world in transition amid acute geopolitical confrontation  will be delivered in English.

Professor Ina Reić Ercegovac, PhD, was elected Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, at the 2nd Faculty Council Session in the acad. year 2022/2023, which took place March 16, 2023. Professor Ina Reić Ercegovac, currently Vice-Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, was elected Dean for the period of the academic years 2023/2024, 2024/2025, and 2025/2026. Professor Ina Reić Ercegovac will assume the position of Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split on October 1, 2023.

We kindly ask all of the students to follow the established rules of appropriate dress code in the academic environment during their stay on the premises of the Faculty.  It is unacceptable to wear the following on Faculty premises: shorts, mini skirts or mini dresses, clothing and footwear intended for the beach and similar places; transparent clothing and other clothing items that are not considered appropriate in public and state institutions in the Republic of Croatia. Summer semester enrollment
The Center for Croatian Studies Abroad is now receiving applications for the summer semester of the Croatian Language and Culture Course in the academic year of 2022/2023. The summer semester starts 20 February and runs until 2 June, which is the total of 15 weeks of classes. Applicants need to send the following: 1. Completed and signed application form 2. Copy of the passport or other personal identification document. 3. Copy of the payment transaction (only the category of applicants subject to payment*) *NOTE: Erasmus students are not subject to payment. They can enroll in the course for free – enrollment in this course is voluntary for all incoming Erasmus students at the University of Split in the academic year 2022/2023. Students arriving through other types of mobility schemes (such as CEEPUS etc.) have to pay a special rate of 79,63 EUR per semester. All other applicants are subject to the semester course tuition fee of 557,43 EUR per semester. The registration documents need to be sent  to the programme coordinator Ms. Jelena Rogošić (jnovak@ffst.hr)  by 13 February 2023. CROATIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSE IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 22/23 – WINTER SEMESTER APPLICATIONS
The Center for Croatian Studies Abroad is now receiving applications for the winter semester of the Croatian Language and Culture Course in the academic year of 2022/2023. The winter semester starts 26 September and runs until 20 January, which is the total of 15 weeks of classes. Applicants need to send the following: 1. Completed and signed application form 2. Copy of the passport or other personal identification document. 3. Copy of the payment transaction (only the category of applicants subject to payment*) *NOTE: Erasmus students are not subject to payment. They can enroll in the course for free – enrollment in this course is voluntary for all incoming Erasmus students at the University of Split in the academic year 2022/2023. Students arriving through other types of mobility schemes (such as CEEPUS etc.) have to pay a special rate of 750,00 Croatian kuna per semester. All other applicants (studying in group classes) are subject to the semester course tuition fee of 4.200,00 Croatian kuna per semester. There is also possibility of individual classes (one-on-one), in which case the tuition fee amounts to 8.200,00 Croatian kuna per semester. The registration documents need to be sent  to the programme coordinator Ms. Jelena Novaković (jnovak@ffst.hr)  by 19 September 2022.
